在英文”找工作”被称为Job Hunting。顾名思义，猎头，便是人才的猎人。他们发现、追踪、评价、甄选适合客户的高级人才。猎头的运作和海投不同，他们会采取明争暗夺，主动出击的模式，为所需高级人才的客户猎取人力市场的资源。
由于猎头有大量的雇主资源，同时时刻了解雇主的人力需求，所以他们会对症下药，推荐最合适的Candidate给雇主去面试。

Preparing for the Interview 面试准备
1.Review the Job Description and ask your consultant to explain any areas required.
仔细审阅工作广告，让猎头解释任何不清楚的地方。
2.Remember the interviewer's correct name (including pronunciation) and their correct title.
记住面试官的名字和职位。
3.Research important facts about the company.
对公司的基本信息做仔细的调查，例如: 公司业务内容，公司历史，公司的规模和地点，最近行业新闻。
4.Select 3 or more personal key strengths and produce specific past experiences when you have demonstrated that these are key components about you.
准备三个关键的个人强项，结合过去的经验，展示给雇主。
5.Select 3 or more achievements accomplished per position, which displays any competency required in the position you are interviewing for. i.e. Initiative, Teamwork, Dedication, Leadership.
准备自己过去的三个成就，这些成就展示出为何自己可以胜任这个岗位，例如工作动力，团队合作，专注，领导力。
6.Refresh your memory about facts and figures about your present and former employers.
回忆关于过去和当前雇主的一些信息，方便回回答雇主的一些问题。
7.Most importantly, produce several questions to ask the interviewer. The same as the interviewer is deciding if you are the right person for the vacancy, you must determine if this potential employer will provide the right career opportunity for you. In addition, this will impress the interviewer by your interest in the company and by your articulation of intelligent questions.

The Interview 面试
面试注意事项
Dress in a smart business suit with a clean, ironed shirt and tie (or blouse) and black polished shoes.
必须正装出席，衣着必须干净，熨平以及崭新的鞋子。
ALWAYS over dress, even if you know that it is company policy to wear casual clothes.
即便知道公司没有正装的风格，在面试的时候也要正装出席。
ALWAYS arrive a few minutes early.

ALWAYS maintain a positive attitude.

ALWAYS greet and address the interviewer by his/her first name (unless specified). If you are notsure of the pronunciation, ask your consultant prior to the interview.
在面试的时候要大方直呼对方姓名并问好，如果不确定向自己的猎头了解发音。
ALWAYS shake hands with a firm grip.

ALWAYS wait until you are offered a chair before sitting. Sit upright in your chair; look up, alert and interested at all times.

ALWAYS be as charismatic as possible- it is very important that you demonstrate your
interpersonal skills during the interview.
体现自己的魅力，向面试官展示你的交际能力。
ALWAYS allow the interviewer to talk. Very important to be a good listener as well as a good talker.
做一个好的聆听者，让面试官把话说完。
ALWAYS smile and hold a positive posture.
保持积极的微笑和坐姿。
ALWAYS look the interviewer/s in the eye during the meeting.
直视面试官。
ALWAYS make sure that you answer the questions in a concise, factual and sincere manner. Make the interviewer aware of the benefits that you can offer the organisation.
简洁，有理有据，真诚地回答面试官的问题，让面试官意识到你会为公司带来确实的好处。
ALWAYS perform the best you can and display a positive interest in the position you are
Discussing.
展现自己最好的一面，对于谈论的话题保持积极的态度。
ALWAYS ensure you smell fresh. It is not recommended to smoke before the interview.
面试之前请勿吸烟。
ALWAYS use specific examples that justify you ability when answering questions rather than use a simple ‘yes’ / ‘no’ response.
用事实为自己代言。而不是回答简单的是或者否。
ALWAYS answer questions frankly and as close to the point as possible.
永远坦诚地回答面试管的问题。
ALWAYS avoid making any remarks that may be perceived as negative about your present or former employers.
不要说前任雇主的坏话。
ALWAYS use the power of silence between answers to indicate to the interviewer that you have finished answering the question.
用“沉默的力量”告诉面试官你回答结束了。
ALWAYS avoid enquiring about salary,holidays, bonuses etc during the initial interview unless you are specifically asked.

行为面试法
This commonly used questioning technique is based on the theory that past experience equals future behaviour. By using the STAR format, it demonstrates to the interviewer that you can perform a desired competency by your past experiences.
行为面试法式是一个非常常见的面试方法，该方法认为过去的行为可以预示着未来的行为。通过STAR法则，可以通过过去的行为判定是否能胜任目前的工作。

Can you give me an example of a time when you demonstrated the ability to be a team player?

Answer (in ST/A/R format) -用STAR方法回答：
ST – Situation/Task (I was at work last Friday when I noticed that my colleague was flooded with work)
场景和任务 上周五我在工作，但是同事告知他忙不过来了
A – Action (I was on top of my workload so I offered to assist and commenced helping him)
我对我的工作有很好的掌控，所以我决定帮助他
R – Result (Together we completed the workload and ever since we always help each other)
